Join us for a seasonal harvesting class. Once a month, we gather as a group to practice the ethical harvest of various wild, medicinal and cultivated plants. We will learn what is seasonally ripe, ask permission, harvest together, and begin to process or make food/medicine from what we gather.

HARVESTING: tending the harvest (monthly)
Join us for a seasonal harvesting class. Once a month, we gather as a group to practice the ethical harvest of various wild, medicinal and cultivated plants. We will learn what is seasonally ripe, ask permission, harvest together, and begin to process or make food/medicine from what we gather.
Participants take home a small harvest of seasonal medicinal, wild and/or edible plants—including at least one herbal medicine or food we have prepared together.
Who: This class is for adults and young people (ages 10+) with an adult. If this limits your enthusiastic interest to attend, please let me know. Participation is limited to 12.
Where:
Various locations in the Snoqualmie Valley. Address and other details provided upon registration. Please note that some locations may require a Discover Pass—not covered in the cost of the plant walk.
Cost:
$65/55/45 sliding scale
Ticket includes supplies for any plant medicines or foods we prepare together (i.e. vinegar, alcohol, honey, jars, labels, etc).

Access: Many harvesting locations will be on uneven ground, some with gravel or loose rocks. We will travel on pathways that range from one to seven feet wide. Nearly all sites are relatively flat. Weather conditions may make the ground slick or less sturdy. Some sites do not have a restroom near the parking area. Please reach out with questions or concerns.
